Mortared Wall Repair, Leeds

The work involved carefully dismantling the compromised sections of the wall, salvaging and cleaning the original stonework where possible. Each stone was then meticulously repositioned and mortared to match the existing construction techniques, maintaining consistent coursing and alignment throughout. We took great care to blend new mortar with the weathered appearance of the original wall, ensuring a seamless visual integration between restored and existing sections.

Working on a heritage property required particular attention to detail and sympathetic restoration methods. The stone coping along the top of the wall was carefully reset to ensure proper water drainage and protection of the structure below. Using traditional pointing techniques, we recreated the authentic appearance whilst providing modern structural integrity.
